1. 

   Disguised as a boy, Sin Chae-gyeong runs away from home for Hanyang, where she encounters Prince Lee Yeok, King Lee Yung's half-brother.

2. 

   Chae-gyeong survives a risky situation with Yung, meets Yeok under new circumstances and makes a friend in Seo No.

3. 

   When Seo No's father is taken prisoner by Yung, who wants to find the late king's will, Yeok promises to save him.

4. 

   With Yeok in trouble, Chae-gyeong heads to the palace to share responsibility. The pair faces punishment at the king's court.

5. 

   Yeok returns to Hanyang a changed man. Yung and Chae-gyeong have another chance meeting outside the palace.

   Yeok puts on an act to drive Chae-gyeong away. Yung displays a sudden interest in the welfare of his subjects. A rebellion simmers.

   After Chae-gyeong is locked up for helping Yeok, a public notice goes up demanding he step forward -- or she takes the fall.

   With Chae-gyeong's life on the line, Yeok and Yung protect her in different ways. The ministers beg for an investigation on the thief.

   Reinstated as prince, Yeok and his allies plot to bring Yung's people to his side. Chae-gyeong is shown a grim prophecy.

    Yeok enlists Seo No's help to try and change Chae-gyeong's mind on an important matter. Meanwhile, Yung asks for Sin Su-geun's loyalty.

    Chae-gyeong prepares for the wedding. Convinced Yeok is up to something, Yung secures a spy, visits the pawnshop and sets a trap.

    Yung gains crucial information about his father's secret will. Chae-gyeong waits for Yeok to be honest with her. The rebels amp up their activities.

    After learning the truth about Yeok's shop, Chae-gyeong goes to Yung with a request -- but walks away with an even heavier burden.

    Both sides close in on the bearer of the tattoo. Su-geun discovers the rebels' hideout. Mulling over why he should be king, Yeok arrives at an answer.

    Yeok's decision disappoints his allies -- and pushes Yung deeper into madness. Su-geun receives an order to bring in the rebels.

    Chae-gyeong and Yeok set off for a quiet life. Seo No steps forward for the rebels as Yung's brutality reaches new heights.

    Chae-gyeong makes a sacrifice for Yeok. As Yung's bloodbath continues, the rebels round up troops and formulate a plan.

18. 

    As the rebels infiltrate the palace, Yeok and Yung engage in battle. Chae-gyeong experiences a shocking loss.

19. 

    Yeok wants to have Chae-gyeong crowned queen, but Park Won-jong has other ideas. Yung is attacked on his way to exile.

20. 

    Following reprieve from her sentence, Chae-gyeong makes a difficult decision. Won-jong's scheme backfires. Yeok and Yung meet for the last time.
