【翻译】

孔子说：“三个人同行，其中必定有人可以作为值得我学习的老师。我选取他的优点而学习，如发现他的缺点则引以为戒并加以改正。”

【解读】

孔子这句极为著名的话，已经成为历代有志之士、好学之士的座右铭。凡有一点特长的人，他都认为有可资借鉴取法之处。就是有错误的人，他也认为可以作为反面教材，观照自己的言行有无同样的不足。他喜欢以别人为师，总觉得自己的知识不够。

这句话的道理很简单，就是为学者要谦虚好学，可是做起来非常不容易。因为人往往自以为是，免不了虚荣和傲慢。孔子之所以能成为伟大的思想家和教育家，离不开这种谦虚好学的精神。能够虚心向别人学习，这种精神已经十分可贵，更可贵的是，不仅要师人之善，还要以别人的缺点为借鉴，这是平凡而伟大的真理，对于指导我们处世待人、修身养性、增长知识，都是有益的。

比如“溫故而知新”、“三人行必有我師焉” 、 “學而不思則罔，思而不學則怠”等，經過歲月考驗，依然是教育界的至理名言。
